Ponchos - yes or no??

I kind of like ponchos but something is stopping me from buying one. I find I get too hot in coats if I'm rushing about so a poncho would be perfect for me in winter. Any opinions??

Yes you're right of course. Am slowly regaining my confidence with clothes following split from exh. I know what I like, just need a kick up the bum sometimes, need to get out of the habit of asking for permission I guess!! Thanks.

I really love mine here from Debenhams. It is a bit thicker so it makes a good alternative to a coat when just popping from the car into shops etc.

Although DH isn't that keen on it, not really sure why but it doesn't put me off.

I have had one on today! I have 2 one plain black which is lovely at night and a vintage missoni one which I was wearing today. I think they look great with skinnies and boots although sometimes find the handbag situation annoying!

get one! I've got a hand knitted navy one and it is fab, tres chic

second what noddy says about the bag, only clutch or short handles work

I wear a small cross body bag under my poncho. I find that works fine when out and about.

I am not keen on them for me because I think they'd make me look larger. My eye did fall upon this lovely one from Zara though and I was tempted.
