I have been using various different clinique mascaras over the years (usually the ones that come with the bonus time package!) but recently just can't get on with them - they keep clumping and just annoy me! I change them every couple of months, and take my time to apply them, so I'm not after tips to apply mascara, but would love to know what your favourite mascara is please!

I love maxfactor mascaras, wouldnt use anything else! Im using the false lash effect at the moment!

Have to second MaxFactor - except I SWEAR by 2000 Calorie in black. It's the best thing ever. Have tried every mascara going and it's superb.

i'm still completely in love with NYC lengthening mascara, which I raved about in the summer and is STILL fulfilling all my mascara dreams... Wink

I've tried every single mascara ever produced by human or beast, btw!

I also love revlon Vital radiance finding mascara (about £1.50 on ebay) which is my second choice...

Lancome Definicils. They do a nice little set at this time of year, whereby you get an eyeliner and a tiny pot of eye makeup remover, as well as the mascara. I have tried many mascaras over the years and did like Clinique for a time until they stopped doing the one I used. The lancome one is the best of them all and I doubt I'll try anything else now.

i know you said you didn't like the clinique ones, but have you tried lash doubling mascara? i really like that one, although i don't like the other clinique ones much. it's def the best i have found. tried the maxfactor mentioned above- thought it was okay but didn't live up to the hype.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions - will have a look into these!

I like Clinique ones (especially the curly one that needs warm water and pressure to remove it). SO perhaps not very helpful to you :)

L'oreal telescopic. lOVE IT!

TartyMcFarty · 28/10/2011 10:17

I bought some Dior stuff for my wedding and am ashamed to say I'm still using it 2 years on (is that a bit yuck?!) It's Diorshow and is pretty lovely.

madmomma · 31/10/2011 00:20

definitely max factor false lash

piprabbit · 31/10/2011 00:30

Reading with interest as I'm struggling to find a new mascara at the moment. I just want something (waterproof) to wear during the day and make my eyes look more finished. So many of the mascaras sound like they are for heavy duty night wear (Super Double Extra Lash Extension for that false lash effect) that I find it a bit off-putting.

Second the max factor 2000 calorie - have it in black brown - excellent - doesn't clump I wear it everyday. Love it. Doesn't come off until you remove it. Befor this I used get panda eyes from other mascaras.
Also found no 7 good - cant rememebr name - it s in a green tube.

ENormaSnob · 31/10/2011 08:59

Loreal telescopic lengths.

HazleNutt · 31/10/2011 09:00

Diorshow is brilliant.
