Can you help me find these, or something like them

I need a pair of shoes for a fairly important party (my book launch Smile) this Monday. They need a bit of pizazz to them as my dress is quite plain -

Will possibly also be wearing 5 week old baby strapped to me!

I have just bought these
online and they are ok but a bit high - and a bit too big

I like the shape of these but they have none in a size 6

Ideally I'm after something vintage-inspired, in caramel or tan...

Free copy of the book and much gratitude to anyone who cracks it for me!

Ooh - thank you both so much. Mythical - we should have a budget but I may well be willing to bust it for the right pair and then regret it later. TethHears - I'm liking the Schuh pair, and the Gina pair. Hard to work out whether the Gina are just too bashed about....Schuch pair is very nearly perfect but maybe not quite pizzazy enough. I have been madly pondering these but coo what a price and I'm a 6 not a 7 so hmmm....

have you tried this:

www.stylistpick.com/?mkwid=s4qNMNXNH&pcrid=16564701354&plid=&kword=style%20pick&gclid=CPLzo-efi6wCFYEZ4QodhnXbnA

you basically put in your tastes through a little quiz and they bring up shoes that fit your look! I love it and they have some great picks on there and they are really well priced. x

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone. I'm sorry that I went silent. It got very very busy pre-launch. In the end, I ran out of time to get anything on the internet, ran to Clarks with children in double buggy and bought some Mary Portas brown heels which were nice - but my original Urban Outfitters were still deemed by perplexed spouse to be nicer, along with claims that he knew nothing about shoes. Two lunch visitors also deemed them nicer, and one bravely told me that my back up Zara comfy shoes did indeed look 'cheap and nasty'. So in the end, I followed HotBurrito1's advice and bought a wide selection of insoles. The launch was a triumph and I didn't fall over. The book is a kind of biography/letters book. Throughout the six years of writing it, and the birth of two children, Mumsnet has helped with panics about childcare, breastfeeding, shoes, cervical smears, developmental delays fish pie safety, and whether or not I should wear orange. Couldn't have done it without you. I would love to say what the book is exactly, but the lure of narcissism/advertising is outweighed by the fact that then I will have outed myself. HotBurrito1 - PM me your address and I'll put a copy in the post.
Back to Charlie and Lola x

Yay!!!! Good result all round I say Grin, and they were good shoes. Well done on a successful launch without tripping.
