So what kind of shoes do you wear with leggings, then?

Have just purchased my very first pair of leggings since I was a teenager (which is quite a long time ago). I am going to wear them with long-ish tunic-dress type things.

But what shoes do I wear? Ankle boots? Or what? Boots okay for outdoors, but a bit much for going round to someone's house etc. All advice welcome!

I wear mine with eiether my ballet pumps, uggs or biker boots.

Flat ballet style pumps, flat ankle boots, uggs, biker boots, knee-high boots - flat or heeled, sandalls - flat gladiator or high heeled... All depends on the rest of the outfit really, as they can be worn with casual, funky or dressy outfits.
Treat them as tights or skinny jeans.

So, if you're wearing flat ballet style pumps, do you wear thin socks or tights under the leggings?

I would go barefoot under pumps - which is why I would probably only wear this in the summer.

Uggs. I'd like to wear them wi ballet pumps but I don't think it is a good look with size 10 feet!

depends on your outfit really.

Barefoot with ballet pumps, socks and uggs for me.

Flip flops in summer.

with any sort of boot except ankle height. with converse - type trainers (and trainer liner socks). With flip flops / birkenstocks in summer.

okay, so am leaning towards ballet pumps now - where can i buy some silvery/grey ones...any tips?
