Tan flat ankle boot quest

TethHearseEnd · 25/10/2011 19:45

Nothing I find is quite right...

I was going to buy these but dithered and now they are out of my size (8).

I bought these and sent them back (Because they were WORN), but i don't like them enough to get another pair...

So, to sum up, I want tan ankle boots with a bit of a heel, but flat, pref with an almond toe and/or a bit of detail in an 8. Under £100. I think.

Please help.

Only a shade under the £100 but love the look of these. Massimo Dutti normally good quality IME.

They're ok, but the sole is a bit thin for what I'm after... they look a bit flimsy IYSWIM.

Well, Next have rather a good leather pair for £65. They are pretty flat, pull on and good quality. I tried the same design in the ginger suede but they had that 'distressed' look- scuffy business which is plain nasty.
They do them in norm and wide fit. I have worn these all day and they don't need wearing in. I like the fact that they are plain and a slightly higher ankle boot so they don't catch on hems etc.
HTH.

no idea if Clarks have anything you like, but if they do then "berry" gets you 20% off.

Thanks.

Nippy, do you have a link?

Nippysnippy · 25/10/2011 21:25

Thanks Etti- yes those ones indeed.

I like the sole and heels on those, but think the length would look a bit odd on me. Thanks though.

I have those Next ones in chocolate brown suede, and if it helps at all they make a FAB clippy cloppy noise when you walk! (an important quality for me when buying shoes - think I'm mentally still about 7!) Grin

They do look fab though with leggings and tunic, and also with tights and short skirt.

T K Maxx is always worth a go online. What you want is tan Chelsea boots then?

TethHearseEnd · 26/10/2011 12:53

Oooh, rc8911, you are GOOD.

I like the asos ones and the sale office ones- at that price I may get both!

Thank you so much Smile
