I want to go blond...

...but dont know if it would suit me or how easy it is to do? I've uploaded a pic on my profile that shows my current hair colour.
Would I have to go to a hairdresser or can I do it at home? I'm naturally blond but have been dying my hair since a young teen so not really sure what colour it is underneath now!

Any advice would be great [hsmile]

Don't do it at home! I can't see your pictures so don't know your hair colour, but I have light brown hair and tried to dye my hair blonde at home and ended up looking like I had a canary on my head - I just can't get it past the yellow stage. When I went to the hairdresser with my egg-yolk-yellow hair he said that I had too much gold tone in my hair and treated it with lots of purply colour stuff.

It's so embarrassing going to the hairdresser with a hat on and a home-dying disaster that it's really not worth trying to do at home, imo.

I can't see your pics as I'm on my phone. I have dark red/brown hair and my hairdresser says the only way to lightn is with bleach. I don't think home bleaching is a good ideam

Not sure how it works with light hair being dyed dark though.

I've seen your pic and think you'd look lovely blonde, needs to be done by a hairdresser though, if you've been dying it for years.
It could take a few goes, to lighten it.

I've been colouring my own hair for years too, but wouldn't attempt to go lighter, without professionals involved!
