Ideas for smart and casual 1 week trip all must fit in carry on

Am away on business for a week, will be a combination of smart, "party", business and smart-casual. Have to take carry on only because of various flights being taken and lack of trust any checked in bags will make it!

Any ideas - I have plenty of things to take but trying to get together what I could have multiple wears from/what to wear on plane etc

Choose a base colour and two pairs of shoes/boots and work it from there. So this week I'll be away Tues-Thurs and will take - black wool dress with two different colour long sleeve tshirts for underneath, black maxi skirt, black trousers, nice top and a cardi, plus camis. Shoes will be ballet pumps plus boots. Will wear dress and boots on plane, maxi skirt and trousers for evening dos, wool dress in day, trousers and top in day. Base colour is black, accents of red, pink and bright blue from jewellery, camis etc
