Nursing tops

Now that bf seems to be working out (dc2), I am getting a bit fed up of getting undressed all the time. Do I need special nursing tops, or is there something clever I can do with boob tubes/vests and ordinary t shirts?

I used to either wear a big cardi and use that to shield myself with or wear a vest top under my normal top. You pull the vest down and your top up and it avoids showing your, in my case, flabby and stretch-marked post-preg sides!

I did notice that Next had a few bf tops so they might be worth a look if you wanted one for going out. H&M used to do them too.

I still find wearing nursing tops the easiest thing for me, but is it a struggle to find affordable ones (PM me if you would like to know about mine). Matalan and H and M are good too. Failing that, with it being winter, wearing primark £2 vest tops underneath works well, or you can buy belly bands, some friends of mine find they work. I personally feel more confident using nursing tops though :)

They aren't cheap, but I really like Mamaway tops and the nursing tops from Jojo maman bebe. I also have a 'breastvest' which is a bit of a gimmick but v clever for wearing under normal tops, as my dc don't like to be hidden by masses of layers when feeding.

M&s fair trade cotton vests 2 packs have stretchy straps so you can pull the vest dwn easily, then pull your normal top up.
