Is there a particular brand which is really comfy I'm not aware of that I should be trying on??? Thank you!

Clarks have always been good with me.

Gabor ballet pumps are fantastic! I have a couple of pairs, they are more ££ than Clarks, but stay looking good for years, as they are more sturdy somehow ( but don't look clumpy imho).

My favourite ones are Pretty Ballerinas - also have some good ones from Geox and Boden - and Hobbs, but haven't found those have worn very well. currently lusting after a version from Russell and Bromley - the quilted ballet flats on this irrittating website:
