Where can I buy a simple navy blue cardigan from?

That is a "flat" knit rather than a heavy chunky knit, not sure that is a real term but I don't know how else to describe it! It is for layering over a vest/print top to wear with jeans and boots. I would like one that keeps it's shape and wears well. I had a look at Boden but nothing caught my eye there...any ideas ladies??? Thank you! :)

Uniqlo?

Bonsoir · 23/10/2011 09:41

A school uniform shop?

Northernlurker · 23/10/2011 09:44

What size are you? I have bought two like this in the past for dd1 from Zara. If you are an 8 or a 10 you might find one there?

CaptainNancy · 23/10/2011 09:45

I got mine from uniqlo - was cashmere/merino and it is lovely.

wideawakenurse · 23/10/2011 10:26

Zara.

They do them every year. Hip length, fine knit. Usually about £20 ish.

PrimaBallerina · 23/10/2011 10:33

Definitely Zara. I have the very thing you're talking about in navy in my wardrobe. £19.99.

I'm also wearing another one from H&M but that was bought over a year ago so I'm not sure if they're still making it. I think it was only a tenner though.

lolalotta · 23/10/2011 12:15

Thank you so much everyone, MissBeehiving that is exactly what I had in mind. I am going to check in H+M and Zara too! :) Thank you!

Does any one know if Uniqlo comes up small, according to the shoulder measurment on there size guide I am somewhere between a medium and a large which is a UK 12-14, normally I'm a size 8-10...

My cardigan is medium, and I'm a 10-12.

This company do great basic woollens, and although the photos are a bit 1950's knitting pattern, the plain cardis are lovely (and great quality).
