eBay scarf is everywhere

Ok, loved my leopard print eBay scarf. Wore for weeks without seeing a 'twin'.

At a beautiful family hotel in Scottish highlands where I have seen 4 mums wearing since yesterday. All the children are boden clad, mums are decked out in Breton tops & mulberry bags. Feel like I am at a mumsnet conference.

My lovely scarf is now banished to the back of the wardrobe.

twinklytroll · 22/10/2011 11:11

I would also like to know.

meltedchocolate · 22/10/2011 11:12

I saw a woman with no kids with it on the other day. I had then sense not to buy it though when I saw how many were! :o Wink

flipflopper · 22/10/2011 11:15

pissedrightoff · 22/10/2011 11:56

Which family hotel in the highlands? I may have been one you spotted?

bouleverse · 22/10/2011 12:06

I wore mine yesterday but I didn't see any another ones.

Not sure how long mine will last, DS has taken a shine to it, he was wearing it as a "jungley cape". HmmGrin

Saltire · 22/10/2011 12:11

I saw it on tv last night but can't remember where it was or who it was wearing it!Hmm

gregssausageroll · 22/10/2011 12:11

gregssausageroll · 22/10/2011 12:11

I've not yet seen anyone else with one!

GlaikitFizzogOnaNeepyLantern · 22/10/2011 12:13

Alpha mummy at Mum and Baby group has one.

Saltire · 22/10/2011 12:27

GlaikitFizzogOnaNeepyLantern - love your name Grin

RebeccaMumsnet · 22/10/2011 12:34

I wear mine with pride and haven't spotted any others (except at the towers, obvs)

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 22/10/2011 12:37

I haven't seen anyone else with one either, well except my mum who I bought one forGrin

TheQueenOfDeDead · 22/10/2011 12:39

Ooh how exciting.

One of the reasons I didn't look at the thread was because there is no ebay where I am. I did however see very similar pasmina scarfs in grey (much lovelier IMHO!) in a local market and bought them for my friends 2 Christmas's ago.

Please tell me they will now think I am super stylish and ahead of the game Grin

bigbadbarry · 22/10/2011 12:43

Huh. Not here it's not - it's been a month and it hasn't arrived yet :(. Waiting to hear back from seller.

AgentProvocateur · 22/10/2011 12:45

I bet you're at Crieff Hydro - last time I was there, it was full of people who looked like they'd be MNers!

twentyfourhoursaday · 22/10/2011 13:52

I wore mine at the Fairmont Hotel, St Andrews - last weekend. Was child free [hwink]

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 22/10/2011 15:52

I haven't seen any round my way yet.....well, only me!

Long may it last.

PrinceRogersNelson · 22/10/2011 16:08

I've seen 2 mums with it on this week.

BuildersTea · 22/10/2011 16:10

I haven't come across them before. I've been intrigued by the constant references to it on here but being new, missed the big thread. Have just bought one in brown :)

VivaLeBeaver · 22/10/2011 16:14

Germaine Greer was wearing it on tv the other night.

GlaikitFizzogOnaNeepyLantern · 22/10/2011 17:28
