NF Metropolis vs Triple C

I wondered if anyone could help me decide which one of these is the one to go for... they are essentially the same coat but the triple c is new for this season with a longer length by 23cm ( and extra £50). I also fancy the eggplant but the triple c only comes in black, grey or brown..

Any help whilst I deliberate this for endless hours and it goes oos ...

Had a look and I would go for the Tripple C coat if I was you. It has 700 down as opposed to 600 on the other one plus it is a fair bit heavier in weight so it will be a warmer jacket. At the end if the day you are buying it to be as warm as possible so the triple c makes sense ( even if bit more expensive). I think I prefer the look of it too. When temps go below freezing you won't care about the extra £50.....

mirpuppet · 21/10/2011 20:16

Triple C as it has a hood.

I think the metropolis does too actually.... going to double check.

HTH, I like your reasoning, but its not the price really, more the colour..

Hmm. It Is a harder decision if you have your heart set on a particular colour. This coat will get pulled out every winter for several years. On the one hand the colour you love might make you love using it but on the other, maybe a more neutral colour (black or brown) might help the coat feel 'fresh' each year, iykwim. Sometimes you tire of a brighter colour faster than something less obvious. Only you know what you are like though!
