Topshop just sent me a pair of USED boots

The labels have been torn off the bottom.

They are scuffed.

The leather is creased.

The sole is worn (they have been worn outside).

They are SECOND HAND.

I paid for next day delivery because I needed them for tomorrow.

On hold to customer service- what should I expect?

Evans did this to me, twice in a row, with my wedding shoes - and had run out of other stock in my size! I got to keep the less wrecked pair and got them for peanuts.

Same happened to me with Mint Velvet - they sent me a rank pair of grey suede sandals. It was the weekend so I couldn't phone them, but emailed cust services (to point out it wasn't me who had worn them!) and sent them straight back. Got no reply to my email or any apology, just a refund. Clearly I should have been on the phone demanding extra!! Won't ever order from them again though so ner ner (childish emoticon)

Seriously, these boots have been worn for a good few days, not just tried on- there's gravel in the heel!

Now I'm either going to have to return the boots and wait for them to process the refund before I reorder or take them to a shop, travelling to which will dent the 20% off. They have no boots in store. I cannot afford to pay for two pairs of boots and have one refunded. I am not happy.

To be honest, I am prepared for an argument in store if I take them back, as they are that worn they will think I'm taking the piss.

So, to sum up, Topshop R shit.

I will just have to find some nicer boots elsewhere when I take them back. i really don't feel like giving them more money at the moment.
