How often will I need to dye my hair to maintain the colour.

Any advice please.
I have just had my hair dyed at the hairdressers from blondish highlights back to my normal mousy colour but covering the increasing amount of grey.
I like the result but wouldn't mind going a bit browner. My question is how often do you have to dye your hair to maintain a decent colour?

Hi Crusoe. Probably about every 4-6 weeks I would have thought. I have home coloured my hair for years and tend to do it every 4 weeks, although this is mainly to lighten my dark roots which seem to appear very quickly.
