Do dry cleaners dye things?

Does anyone know if a dry cleaner could dye a white coat black?

Failing that any ideas of how I can freshen up a white coat? I've washed it before and its been fine but the colour isn't as bright as it used to be.

i don't think so

but give the dylon home dye a go, they give good results depending on the fabric. they won't dye polyester or other synthetic fabrics, but cotton should dye ok

They definitely used to years ago but I can't say I've noticed any advertising the service these days. You could maybe try a more specialist dry cleaners?

I use Dylon a lot and it works a treat. I haven't used it on anything white , but my darks come up really well.
