Footwear to go with...

I have just bought a pair of black combat style trousers (in a smaller size thanks to a diet - yay! Grin ). Normally I have cream/neutral shades so tend to pair them with my bog standard white trainers, but it looks and feels a bit daft doing this with the black pair.

I've got round it by using my black hiking boots as a stop gap, but they are very heavy and I want something I can stick my feet into and go (laces are fine, but spending 20 minutes lacing up is not!).

Can anyone recommend a casual/sporty alternative? I have size 3/4 feet so kiddies shoes are a possibility.

TIA

Try sketchers - they do great black trainers normally. And well done on the diet, woohooo!

Thanks ThinNigella (love the name btw, although that woman may be the partially to blame for me having to lose the weight!)

Went in and browsed and Sketchers DS indeed fit the bill, and as a bonus I was able to fit in the Junior size so a bit cheaper Grin

Unfortunately, I'm now lusting after a pair of Converse which are completely impractical and don't go with any of my clothes or my age really Blush

Why won't Converse go with them? That sounds like a perfect solution to me.

Um, they were red and tartan... and expensive Hmm also not waterproof!
