White stuff yes or no?

Sizing seems bizarre no consistency
Some really thin poor quality tops
But the skirts look nice beautifully lined good quality
The window displays are fab then I go in and don't know where to start.

I find sizing is consistent - big hips, small boobs

TethHearseEnd · 14/10/2011 19:32

No, no and thrice no.

talkingnonsense · 14/10/2011 19:39

You need to pick carefully as quAlity can be poor but I do have a couple of really nice things.

VivaLeBeaver · 14/10/2011 19:40

I got a lovely dress from there last year but never seen anything else to tempt me before or since.

No - it doesn't last. Material very thin and prone to holes, edges fray, buttons don't stay on.

Trills · 14/10/2011 19:50

I have a couple of nice things from White Stuff that seem to be lasting fine.

Nope. It's for women who think they are bit too alternative for Boden.

But they aren't.

Dozer · 14/10/2011 20:59

Got lots from there in sales when was one of few local shopping options, most stuff poor quality (faded quickly in wash) and overpriced IMO.

pootle123 · 14/10/2011 21:48

I go in there and I forget what year it is. It seems as if they've been churning out the same stuff since 2006.

frightstick · 14/10/2011 21:53

I wear lots of White stuff although always get cross at patchy quality.

But I don't really have an interest in fashion, have no idea about this seasons 'trends etc.

Just like to order online, have it turn up and not make too many decisions.

But the fashionistas on here will flame me for it Grin

frightstick · 14/10/2011 21:54

Georgeelliot, I am that woman Wink

goingmadinthecountry · 14/10/2011 22:28

No way. It's very dull.

spongefingeranyone · 14/10/2011 22:48

If you like it, then yes. If you don't like it then no. Stop worrying what everyone else thinks.

tigerdriverII · 14/10/2011 22:51

I've a lovely top from there but bought from Bicester Village not the catalogue the moths got it but it's still really nice if you don't wear anything white underneath >

carabos · 15/10/2011 08:31

It's ok for summer stuff and I've had a couple of nice knits. Only buy in the sale though as I think it's overpriced for the quality.

GiganticusBottomus · 15/10/2011 08:35

I want to love it because of the colours and pattern but nothing sodding well fits me (short, big norks) - the tunics are huge, everything is too low cut, I don't know WHAT they do with their cardigans and the top I had from there a few years ago literally fell apart.

So NO, NO, NO.

LoveInAColdGrave · 15/10/2011 08:37

I wear quite a lot of their dresses and find they wash and wear well. But S&B has made me feel frumpy for doing so.

GiganticusBottomus · 15/10/2011 08:57

Sod s and b. Some of the 'gorgeous' things posted on there are GROSS! You will know if you look frumpy or not.

Hulababy · 15/10/2011 09:17

I like White Stuff and have had some lovely, good quality from there. Never had any problems with them tbh. I find the sizing good and consistent.

LoveInAColdGrave · 15/10/2011 10:09

Thanks, GB.

neuroticmumof3 · 15/10/2011 12:31

I've got some lovely skirts, dresses and tops from there and have always been pleased with the quality.

MegBusset · 15/10/2011 12:41

I am officially White Stuff Woman (but only on the top half). Their tops fit me perfectly and I like a lot of the prints. Skirts/trousers don't fit at all though.

I've never been stylish so see no reason to start now Grin
