What to wear with purple shoes

i recenly bought a pair of purple shoes. Not because I like the style, but because I was totally seduced by the gorgeous colour (the picture doesn't do it justice).

Obviously they're jeans shoes, but what colours do I wear with them? Does it matter what colour top or trousers I wear?

Purple has blue tones, so navy would be perfect...

Oh, I was expecting hot heels.
Not sure what I'd wear with those.

White for tops I'd go for though, but I'm boring.
I'd like a classic white long sleeved tee.

Tailored brown tweed slacks would be a good contrast

They are so horrible, I thought I could only ever love purple things but they have changed that for me

I think you could get away with mustard-coloured tights with purple shoes too.
There's a lot of autumnal colours around at the mo I think would look lovely with those.

I agree - almost! I have never liked that style of shoe. Not the first time around, in the 70s I think, and not this time. But the purple suede redeems them.

"Hot heels" - I wish.

Autumn colours, yes, sounds right.
