Does anyone know anything about Connolly Bags?

I've just bought one from Ebay and its a lovely tan leather bag but it has no markings or stitiching which says the maker?

Is it a low key bag with no marketing on it? Tis very nice but in the description (which I couldn't read as they had used that daft script writing which can't be read) it had the number £185 as if that was what the seller had paid for it.

I've bought it off ebay for 12 quid so I'm perfectly happy.

Never heard of them... that there is a handbag brand i've not heard of!

I've googled and came up with nothing either, maybe they are not UK based??

Ahh, Connolly is the name of the leather tannery. Connolly Tanneries Ltd. They were a leather tannery and leather products manufacturer for car industry as well as other items... Theyv'e now gone bust..

I've found the ultra discrete logo eventually, Connolly stamped on the flap that had folded it over itself.

I think they used to make the leather in an mx5 I had once.

I too was at a handbag make I hadn't heard of.

I guess if you like the bag, it doesn't really matter whether it has a logo on it or, does it?

Quite true, just surprised that an 'expensive' bag had no obvious marketing.

And I wanted someone else to say they had one and yes, there was a logo (so I knew it wasn't fake)
