semi on top of permanent help please.

As the title says, my hair is currentlu dyed "lightest blonde" using a permanent dye I also have bleach highlights growing out. My question is what will happen if I put a semi permanent colour on I would love to try a red colour but I am a little scared something horrible will happen.

Your hair will be porous where you high lights are and will soak up the red more, It will "take" there quicker and probably be darker than the red that you want. Bleached hair stains very easily so personally I would avoid trying to colour at home with a semi, just because it will stain and if you decide that you don't like the colour its a faff to strip it out. I would advise that you go to a salon.
