Bobbi Brown fans - a couple of questions

I went to their counter on Saturday after being thoroughly disillusioned by my normal haunts (clueless salesgirls more interested in telling me about their weekend trying to sell me stuff I don't want just because it's new instead of what I actually asked for) and I have to say I was really impressed, the products completely transformed my face although I did have to stop myself singing My Prerogative the whole time.

So, a couple of things I'd like to know - as I say I loved the whole 'look' but I think it was as much to do with the products the girl used under the make-up as the make-up itself. So does anyone use the skincare products and find them to make a real difference? I'd be happy to invest if I could guarantee they'd make my skin look that good but I am very cynical about being sold things for the sake of it (which may be clear after my mini rant above :) )

Also, , is there anywhere reliable that I can get the products a bit cheaper? I'd be willing to pay the full price because they seem worth it but it will add up to a fortune if I get a few things so I'd like to save if I can. I did buy some foundation on Saturday so I didn't waste the poor girl's time for nothing.

Also interested to hear about other BB products that are good - so far I've only seen skincare and foundation/concealer/bronzer/blusher etc. What else is worth a look?

Thanks very much :)

ebay - always get brushes on ebay

i like their concealers but having dry skin, find the two pronged thing they recommend too much, so use the eye brightener pen only.

agree preparations is good.
i use the Loreal skin primer sometimes ( is about £12 from boots)
then my chanel foundation and the eye brightener
bb cream blush and a Nars bronzer with a brush.

QVC do packs that work out much cheaper. Be careful on ebay - check feedback as some are fakes and are shittola.

I like the shimmer brick and it lasts for yearssssss as a touch is enough. The sheer cheek stick on coral is sublime - takes years off and is a great lip colour too. The Pot Rouge also great - use a kabuki brush to stipple it on. Shimmer brick for eyes is luscious.

Obviously the classis gel eyeliners, everyone loves them and the long wear cream shadows are worth the £ as last all day. Use a finger for sheer cover or a brush for definition.

Glitter lip balm - no.
Haven't tried skincare range as happy with ocm but I never believe you have to use the entire product range for best results anyway.

Eye brightener, cream eye shadows, pot rouge.

When I've tried the skincare have always like it, though can't 100%guarantee how it will work on you, I'm afraid.

Skin foundation, pot rouge in coral, shimmer brick in nectar and nude, tinted moisturiser, their lippies are lovely, especially in salmon, and the little pot which has a concealer and powder is also great. Under eye brightened. Eyeshadows are brill.

My name is Bunty and I'm a BB addict. Have a drawer full Blush
