Dress advice please/

I've had to buy a dress for a Wedding I need to go to on the weekend.

I'm not the greatest of shoppers, so this is the only thing I could find that would remotely suit me. Question is, I'm fairly thick waisted and a tad over weight at the mo so I was wondering whether a wider belt around the middle would be better?

Also, I've never used fake nails before, but mine are in an awful state at the minute and quite fancy looking more glam, albeit for the day. Where's the best and cheapest place to buy false ones? Can I paint them? Also, what's the best fake tan for the face? I'm not going to really need it anywhere else (will wear barely black tights so legs are sorted).

Is it obvious that I'm crap at this sort of thing? I have other questions, but I've had a tiring day and I really need some sleep!

Lovely dress, well chosen, you can't be that crap!

Try it with different belts, the thin looks nice though, thick might detract from the dress as its quite delicate?
I'd get some really good supportive underwear for it.

Somebody else can advise on fake nails I hope!

What about an Olay cream with a hint of self tan, start now and it'll be all natural looking by the weekend?

Thanks cerealqueen . That's a good idea re olay cream? I have some somewhere I'm sure. I was worried about face tanning it and looking orange for saturday. I had fakebake given to me recently, but am too scared to attempt it lol

I'm borrowing a friend's hat to wear with it - a wide brimmed black hat. No necklace, but black stud earrings? What do you reckon? Black tights? \barely black? Thick ones? Thin ones? See I AM rubbish at chosing!
