Is it a bit tacky?

I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks and I though that instead of buying another dress I would wear one I already have.

I have a LBD which I love the shapre of (although since having my colour's done I now know I shouldn't really wear black!). I recently got www.kurtgeiger.com/darcy-25.html these georgeous leopard print shoes and I'm looking for an excuse to wear them so what I need to know is do you think it would be really over the top and tacky to wear it all with a nice fake fur jacket? Something like this or maybe this

i also have my eye on this georgeous bag - too much do you think?

My other thought was to maybe team the dress with a bright coloured pashmina and shoes but I'd really like to wear my Kurt geiger shoes and I'd be super cosy and warm in a faux fur jacket Grin

I think animal print is a bit of a marmite thing and I LOVE my new shoes so I don't care if anyone says they are nasty because I know they are a thing of beauty Grin

I think that all accessories should be very simple and elegant if you are going to wear leopard print shoes and avoid the Lynch effect.

I really liked that belted coat, but if you think it wouldn't suit you, then look for another long line, non embellished, brown/beige one. I'd keep the bag to a simple brown clutch that matches one of the shades in the shoes.

Bollocks to red not going with black. And I LOVE the dress. Afraid I think the suggested coat from Oasis is frumpy.

If you're not going to do a red bag, how about an off blue sort of colour? I think gold would be wrong and too try-hard with the fake fur and leopard print.

That's some interesting colour combinations your coming up with there Clarice! Grin Wink

I just think it's a pretty neutral outfit really and could take a bright but plain-coloured bag.
