A decent pair of jeans that are in fashion, to save us all from ankle-skimming bootcut mum-jean hell.

nickelbabe · 03/10/2011 17:07

bras and knickers.

but that's from a purely essential point of view, rather than style Grin

Nothing black for me please - makes me look dead! Lovely leather jacket would be on my list.

AnnetteProfit · 03/10/2011 17:10

skandi1 · 04/10/2011 23:29

Post pregnancy shape wear and nursing/maternity bras

Trills · 04/10/2011 23:53

Do you remember what NHS glasses looked like? Hmm

The NHS should not be allowed to give out clothes.

sneakybeak · 04/10/2011 23:54

A well fitting bra and knickers set.

That is all.

daenerysstormborn · 05/10/2011 00:12

bridget jones style pants

PessimisticMissPiggy · 05/10/2011 00:26

Aristoc hourglass toner tights please! Can even be used to minimise your bust if up hoik'em up high enough!

midoriway · 05/10/2011 13:51

I was given a pair of NHS suspenders for my compression stockings. I think they were made of webbing last used dragging cargo on and off boats on the Amazon. No NHS clothes for me, no thank you, no way.

BedHog · 05/10/2011 13:58

They gave me some fishnet knickers, which aren't nearly as risque as they sound!!

I agree with Trills though - those enormous glasses. Brown for the boys and a choice of pink, white or pale blue for the girls. Style really isn't the NHS's strong point, although I'm pretty impressed with the range of coloured casts available now should you break your leg!!
