I have some birthday money Grin and would like a new bag. I have trawled through thread after thread but still want some perfectly tailored to me S&B advice if possible!

It must be:

leather, but hardwearing enough for use in all weathers
large enough to occasionally hold A4
slightly slouchy/not too structured (so if I am not carrying around A4, it doesn't look ridiculous)
shoulder style, or adjustable straps

I have found this and just can't decide whether I like it or not, or if it's grannyish.

I am considering all colours bar brown (although tan is fine), including COLOUR as evidenced by the link. A pretty lining is a bonus.

I have around £150 to spend. Is this an impossible task?

I quite like it, nice colour.

I think madammecholet has linked to some fab bags, particularly the Oushka but can see why the last one is reduced to £60.00!

culturevulture I did find some complete bargains about tonight :)....I was suprised the Oushka was £245 to start with, but a bargain at £60....

Really love the green Oushka bag

Thanks everyone, partic madammecholet - yes, some great finds there! I love that Oushka bag too but I am nervous that it's too delicate to carry about regularly in rainy Scotland, convince me that's not the case?

Oh...it's not in stock anyway (just the tan), now I can't remember if it was earlier or not!

Sorry, it was in stock when I linked, the power of MN im afraid...... Any bag is fine as long as you use water protector, something like Collonil waterstop which is a water repellent, used regularly will help protect your leather stuff..

Yep, my own fault - should have come back earlier (unexpected visitors). Thank you, I might go for it in one of the more classic colours anyway.
