what are h & m sizes like?

ive just ordered from theyre website for the first tiume.ive brought clothes from h and m before but online it only goes to size 8.cant think what size ive brought in store.

what are the sizes like?

Totally random! I bought a load of size 8 items and some were too tight and others were hanging off me!

I find H&M sizes complete nonsense to be honest! Don't get me wrong, love shopping there, but I always have to try on. On one occassion left with sizes ranging from an 8 to 14! Anywhere else I'm always a 10 or 12. I've never bought online from there, bit odd it only goes upto size 8.

thats ok them-for me,maybe not for youConfused didnt know if maybe id brought smaller in the shop.
i know ive tried things on in theyre before and some have been to big so im guessing it depends on style too.

yep it's absolutely random, always has been

i have had stuff from them ranging from a 10 to an 18, all of which fits.

a friend once wanted a skirt from there and the smallest size was too big on her (she is a regular old 12-14 size)

DD1 loves H & M - her clothes from there range from an 8 to a 14. She is usually a 10 or a 12.

I am a 12 and I usually buy 14-16 if it's dual band sizing, or a 14 if not. On that basis, a size 8 would be more like a 6?

I just bought a fitted blouse & the label says 12 but 42 in Eur sizes........I always thought a 42 was a 14,anyhoo it fits perfectly so I would say they are a b it skewed

Mostly have to size up in H&M, but better trying on as it can be a bit random.

I've recently bought a dress in a 10, a dress in a 12 and a skirt in a 14. I'm usually a 10/12 so yes, they are completely random!

i can't believe all you lot saying it's random i find they're perfectly standard. i have to go up a size on skirts as i have a comparatively fat waist but that's it.
