handbag-laptop bag advice please

(apologies for taking up 2 threads with my luggage requirements)

I want to get a handbag that can fit in it my lap top and papers for when I am schlepping around the uk (mostly by train) - I have previously taken normal size handbag plus laptop in seperate bag and its a bit of a pain

i am looking for something fairly capacious yet stylish that I can get next week

any tips (prefer to keep it under £150 if poss)

I love the look of the modalu one - and it says they have it in house of fraser so going there tomorrow to check out that one and also the recommendation from knitknack

think will buy it, but not use it till I get my new laptop so I know it will fit in!

I have the smaller version of the Pippa and it is nice - only slight reservation I have is zips are a bit too 'gold' for my taste, but that isn't an issue for everyone.

This Milly also looks lovely, btw, and has been liked by several people on here. The P and M Lucia bag I've just received is lovely quality - a bit better and classier than Modalu, I'd say - but also a bit dearer:

I am thinking the Milly would take my laptop.... am leaving hints all over the house for Dh to buy it me for xmas.....I may have to be less subtle!

just been to house of fraser they haven't got it

poly did you get yours on line or were you able to have it look at it in RL?
