Not sure what to go for-am round shouldered and chunky calved too. (I sound lovely don't I? Hmm)

I really struggle with tailoring.

Ok, that's a pretty negative description; how about a more accurate one?

What size/shape are you?

What colouring?

What's your budget?

What's the job for?

Northernlurker · 27/09/2011 18:46

You sound like me. I have huge boobs too Grin

I have a nice suit from M&S - they do up to size 24 and shorter trouser lengths. Will have a look......

Northernlurker · 27/09/2011 18:50

ok this isn't the most exciting suit but it's a reasonable price and looks a decent cut plus it will go with pretty much anything. I am 5ft 3 and M&S medium trousers are fine on me.

schroeder · 27/09/2011 19:02

Oh replies Grin,

so 5 foot nothing.

size 18.

roughly 40.

Dark hair.

fair skin.

I don't suit brown and would like to avoid black as it looks a bit school uniformy to me.

I never wear heels, I can't walk in them and don't like them either.

or skirts-rubbish legs.

or dresses-see skirts also the waist is always in the wrong place for me.

Job is in retail.

You didn't say what your budget was, but how about:

Jacket 1

Jacket 2

Jacket 3

With wide legged trousers like this or this

schroeder · 27/09/2011 20:12

Cheaper is better! Grin

I like the look of number 2 and the price is good, hmm what about underneath?

OP posts:
tethersend · 27/09/2011 20:48

Another cheapie jacket here

Would wear a simple black camisole or t underneath.

schroeder · 27/09/2011 21:08

eek not so keen on that one.

Is there nothing with a little colour?

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 27/09/2011 21:15

Interviews mean sober colours imo. Do you want to be remembered as the candidate who dressed as a sofa...........Grin

schroeder · 27/09/2011 21:21

You look like a sofa

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 27/09/2011 21:22

Yes probably so! Grin

schroeder · 27/09/2011 21:40

I'm not talking about chintz, what if I went for a navy twinset (cringe) +grey wide leg trousers?
