what to wear to funeral next week? black print dress suggestions?

Help!

It's my friend's dad's funeral at the end of next week.

I need to buy something new - don't have anything appropriate.

It's in a small country town - think it will be a bit conservative although not overly. Probably should get a dress.

Criteria:
*would quite like something with black in it, but not plain black - could be a print or a floral
*will go to £200-£300 if necessary, as long as I could wear it again to work, but if I can get something nice for less, great
*on the knee or below, to look good on a size 14

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks for these suggestions Tethersend - I hadn't thought of LK Bennett and have now had a good look through the whole offering.

Quite liked the Monsoon black lace as well. My friend's late dad would have tutted, said 'MrsBaldwin, is that really appropriate?' but with a twinkle in his eye.

Any more ideas gratefully received.
