I agree, Hazlenutt I was only offering my advice, which for me, has helped me lose a lot of weight, keep it off, and feel so much better at myself. They are my weaknesses, and if you eat them dont, is all I was saying, cripes. There was no insinuation of everyone being a junkfood addict couch potato, lol. Enjoy your Biscuit x

Agree with keeping off the bread and heavy carb stuff. I did Atkins a while ago and lost half a stone in a week and then 2lbs a week after that until I stopped. There is no denying that low carb diets work but they are notoriously difficult to stick to!

So now I do what someone else on the thread has said - soup with no bread, chicken with salad instead of in a sandwich, tiny portions of rice/pasta etc.

It does work.

(Can I just say, sliced up avocado sprinkled with garlic and coriander and tipped into hot chicken soup is bloody amazing and very filling!)

Dukan or Atkins.

But how will 10lb make any difference either way?

Take a look at the British Heart Foundation diet. Healthy, sensible, and if stuck to it Will make you a healthier person very quickly

I used my fitness pal to get off 9lbs in a month. I ate 1250 calories a day and any exercise I did I ate the calories back.

It actually was really easy to lose once you start reading the labels and realise how much calories a small snack can contain!

I am now doing weight training so I am having to eat 2000-2300 calories a day and it is actually even harder to put on muscle! There's a great community at myfitnesspal it helps to do it along with others with support.

Hmmm..if you mean the 'BHF' that has been doing the rounds, it's not actually by them...

BHF ELEM all of those, it all come down to will power, determination, and understanding the simple principle of eating less exercising more. Good luck x
