Casual top to wear with pencil skirt?

Hi all,

Just bought this fab skirt (pencil skirt on left - I have it in navy) and could use some advice about what to wear on top. I'd like to dress it down a bit (was thinking boots on feet) so any ideas?

navy is such a hard colour to match

what about a slash neck top or a shirt and waistcoat

Emerald green looks good with navy.

i did see some nice casual ones on the DP website

miss selfridge also have some really cool victorian-like tops, but you would have to be careful you didnt end up looking like a librarian! (although boots would help this)

if you are wanting to look really smart i would try a bustier (RI have a nice one)

go to RI get the latest look, click on victoriana and they have a blue bustier
