tell me what colour I should dye my hair please!

I am actually going to go to a salon to get my hair dyed, rather than slapping it on myself. and I fancy a bit of a change. my natural colour is auburn, and I usually dye it dark brown, but I'm worried that its starting to make me look a bit on the old side. I dont wear make up, and will be getting it tidied up, but keeping the bob style.

advice please.

You're pretty and you look as though you could carry off golden blonde highlights very well.

thank you, I was thinking about trying highlights, but Ive had some pretty major disasters with blonde. the red in my hair turns them orange. but I could go with strawberry blonde highlights.

any other ideas?

A sort of golden, strawberry blonde would look good.
