has this link worked?!

I am trying to learn to be stylish Grin I normally keep things pretty basic.

I like these but am not sure what people think, and how you would wear them? I live in flip flops in summer and last winter in ugg type boots.

I was on maternity leave but am now back at work where I can dress casually occassionally. Would you wear these with jeans? Or how?

Honest opinions please

I normally wear completely flat shoes/boots

They are dreadful! Sorry.

I live in simple, flat shoes and boots and have these in 3 colours. Live in them all winter, wear with everything.

FetchezLaVache · 21/09/2011 21:01

I don't like them either, I'm afraid.

BikeRunSki · 21/09/2011 21:01

If you like the sock top, these are better Naturalista.

tethersend · 21/09/2011 21:01

I no longer fear hell.

pamelat · 21/09/2011 21:03

Its fine, as I say was not entirely sure

I like the sock bit, looks v cosy but like the pattern of the sock bit.

I would prefer flat as more me.

Cant pay more than £80 ish tops.

Thanks all

blimey they're hideous, sorry. I wouldn't wear them with anything. At all.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 21/09/2011 21:04

Feck me, erm no, they will frighten small children.

Bizarely I have the same boots as BikeRunSki, they are wonderful, I have had them for two years and am yet to mark the sole, highly recomended.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 21/09/2011 21:07

Paschaelina wearing those boots with nothing at all would be truly terrifying.

Sorry op.

Is the sock bit important? Describe your ideal boot and what you want to wear it with.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 21/09/2011 21:11

These are gorgeous.

BikeRunSki · 21/09/2011 21:15

My boots are now entering their 6th winter and still going strong.

pamelat · 23/09/2011 13:06

I dont really have "ideal" boots. I have some that I love but they are long and I cant fit them over my jeans not under them, so lets say I need some to wear with skinny jeans. I have "legging" boots, great big comfy ugg looking things.

I like quite girly stuff, but simple ie) flat

I liked the fair isle (is it called that?) sock pattern but its not essential

Maybe I don't really need any.

I guess I am trying to update my look from full time mummy (last 14 months ) to 3 and 1 year old to back to work smarter mummy?

OP, Those boots are simply dreadful, they have no redeeming features at all. Sorry. They say old lady frump. The Doc Martens are nice, funky, practical.
