Warm but not bulky coat for toddler ds

Can anyone recommend a warm but not bulky winter coat for ds (2)?
All of the winter coats so far seem to be too thick and/or rigid.
He currently has one from jojo like this, which he is growing out of, and I would buy him another but I'm not sure it would be warm enough Confused

I've also looked a polarn o pyret but I just can't justify the price for a toddler.

TIA

I got DS's (16 months) from next £22 ish. I cant see it online but it had nice white piping and not too bulky.

I have since seen nicer ones in TK maxx for less, some really lovely designs with aeroplanes/dinosaurs etc for £16. Boden looking at half the price.

Thanks Pam. I'll have a look in TK maxx.
