are fabulous! Just wanted to share Grin
And yes I read about them in The Daily Mail

GetOrfMo1Land · 04/10/2011 17:04

Arte they long enough for a 6 footer?

I rate asda jeans - I used to live in their tight jeggings, they were the most flattering things ever.

Georgimama · 04/10/2011 20:28

I am five nine but long of leg - the long are anything slightly too long on me, so I think you'd be fine.

What shape am I? Curvy Fat with relatively small waist for immense arse size but jelly of belly due to being nine weeks post partum. Long legs but heavy thighed. These really are wonderous jeans.

Georgimama · 04/10/2011 20:29

*if anything

Dreamerofdreams · 04/10/2011 21:18

I am a curvy size 16, largeish thighs, but a flat bum. They do indeed give me a cute curvy bottom! And they are comfortable to wear. I am 5'5 ordered Regular and need a bit of a heel with them or they are too long.

Sparklegeek · 04/10/2011 22:51

I am 5 ft 8-9" and have them in Long - but would prefer them ever so slightly longer. Wouldn't be able to wear heels but have kept them as they aren't bad and they are comfy, plus am not having to hoik them up every 5 mins like all my other jeans!

daenerysstormborn · 05/10/2011 00:05

i'm 5ft 2 and got the 12 long as they didn't have the regular in stock in a 12. have taken them up but seem to have managed to make one leg longer than the other, oops!

gettingolderbytheday · 07/10/2011 22:42

I bought some today in my local Asda, got a size 10 and 12 standard on the basis that I could take back the ones that didn't fit.
The 10 were 'snug' but I think will give a little with wear. They are slim in the leg and quite long for a standard fit so I will fold them up a little. The dark colour is very flattering.

For £18 they are a BARGAIN as I got compliments from OH who actually noticed them!! They are thick at the top but not unusually so and not really noticeable.

daenerysstormborn · 07/10/2011 22:51

they do give a bit with wear, mine have.

SleepyFergus · 08/10/2011 18:43

Yep mine too. I get a couple of days out of them before they get washed again. But once washed they are nice and neat again

Panzee · 08/10/2011 19:46

I have just received mine and they do help my tush a bit. Nice and comfy with enough stretch. :)

LostInTransylvania · 08/10/2011 20:08

I got mine this week and I am a teeny, tiny bit disappointed

I think they look ok but they did start falling down (making it look like my arse had fainted) so I had to nip home at lunch and put a belt on. They are ok, but not as good as I expected.

Ixia · 08/10/2011 22:41

How long is the regular length? I've a 32" inside leg, but there isn't a long in my size, would I get away with a regular ? (the size chart says 31").

ElectricSoftParade · 09/10/2011 08:18

Grin at Lost's fainting arse.

Like mine but find they back very quickly. Good value though.

novelsituation · 09/10/2011 11:04

I really love these jeans! What a bargain.

ElectricSoftParade · 09/10/2011 12:03

To make sense, that should really read bag not back. Durrrrr

mumto2andnomore · 11/10/2011 11:14

Mine came this morning-really like them thanks for the recommendation. Im a 14-16, got the 14 which give me a bit of a muffin top but I think they will give a bit as they are stretchy. Love my bum in them !

Theyve just been featured on This Morning too

mumto2andnomore · 11/10/2011 11:14

Oh and I only ordered them on Sunday pm so v quick delivery

moragbellingham · 11/10/2011 18:37

I liked mine from the thigh upwards! but sent them back as I can't get my head around straight leg jeans - too much of a half-way house, neither skinny or boot.
If they did either of those in the future I would buy.

dwpanxt · 13/10/2011 23:11

Going on the reports on here I bought some yesterday and have just tried them on.

So disappointed.

I am shortish but actually managed to get a short fit pair. They are much longer than the medium lengths I often have to buy. Plus they are not straight-there is a pronounced flare from the knee .Makes me look like I have ricketts .

Bugger .Sad

polyhymnia · 14/10/2011 10:47

Don't usually tend to buy cheap jeans as I need all help I can get! But thinking of risking the 18 quid.

However, a bit put off by reviews on Asda's own site saying the denim looks very cheap (as of course it is). Have others found this??

Prolesworth · 14/10/2011 10:54

Yes, I agree that the denim looks cheap. It looks like it will fade really quickly too (I've only washed mine once so far).

But they are supremely comfortable!

SleepyFergus · 14/10/2011 17:38

I don't think it looks cheap - perhaps I've never had really expensive denim though!!

They are dark denim so I guess in rime they may fade, but for 18 quid I can live with that!!

MissBeehiving · 14/10/2011 17:42

I don't think the denim looks cheap and I buy mostly premium denim Smile

Amiable · 17/10/2011 12:06

I bought these after getting the Mumsnet Swears By email. I am a generous hourglass shape, and bought the 16 regular, and have to say my heart sank when they arrived (v quickly btw) - they looked tiny Sad. I was sure I would not get them over my thighs, but tried them on anyway. Well, I totally have to eat my words - they are a fantastic fit! Grin

Working in challenging circumstances, they do a very good jog of hoicking my backside up and in, and are also high waisted enough to keep the mummy tummy in check. Also, they don't gape at the back - virtually unheard of for me! They look much more expensive than £18 - the stitching/finishing is good, and being dark denim helps too I think. They have been washed and tumble dried and hold their shape well. The only downside is the length - I am 5' 5", and the regular was still a good inch and a half too long, but I can live with that bearing in mind how well they fit elsewhere. I have had them about 10 days now and worn them around home (v comfy), to work, and out to meet friends - several people have commented on my 'weight loss', which to me says it all! I would totally recommend these - in fact I already have, several times!

Gingefringe · 17/10/2011 14:31

I love these jeans too, I'm 12/14 and got the 12. Even though I'm only 5'3" the regular fit was fine - just a tad long for me but not a problem tucked into jeans.

They keep their shape after washing and do give a nice shape to your bum. I thought that they might be sold out in our store but there's a good selection of sizes there cos i think that the ladies who frequent my store are more interested in elasticated waists
