I'll get flamed but while I wouldn't touch the leather thing with a barge pole, I would wear the cardigan thingy!! Blush

PennyFothaguy · 20/09/2011 19:27

That leather top looks like something Buffalo Bill woudl have made in Silence of The Lambs

I'm always SORELY disappointed with MV when I peruse

ireallyagreewithyou · 20/09/2011 19:29

Ah now you can't blame MV for the leather t-shirt, they're everywhere at the moment, look at this lurvely seaside town bar manager warehouse one

The waistcoat though...think I made a similar one myself in technology textiles in 1995.

orangina · 20/09/2011 19:34

Cos is the place to go for long tees....

MissBeehiving · 20/09/2011 20:04

I haven't bought anything from MV for months and I purchased loads last year. It's just not doing much for me atm

SheWhoMustNotBeFlamed · 20/09/2011 20:31

Snap, Miss B

MissBeehiving · 20/09/2011 20:36

SWMNBF - are you a n/c?

moondog · 20/09/2011 20:47

at Buffalow Bill ensemble.
I do like those boots though...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/09/2011 21:19

It's a v odd shop. Agree that tops come up v v tight if you are the slightest bit norky - but dresses are enormous. The quality is v hit and miss too. I won't buy anything else from there, though I did buy three or four things when it first opened.

That cardigan looks like something Sanpe would wear.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/09/2011 21:20

Snape not Sanpe.

Tillyscoutsmum · 20/09/2011 21:23

It is indeed an odd place. I do like a few bits and have just ordered this. I hate their descriptions though. WTAF is "Organic layering" ??

SheWhoMustNotBeFlamed · 20/09/2011 21:54

Nah - I am Mumsnut

MissBeehiving · 20/09/2011 21:57

moondog · 20/09/2011 22:12

Nice Tilly
at organic layering.
Fashion folk talk such shite don't they?

ireallyagreewithyou · 20/09/2011 22:27

No Cos around here

OP posts:
Tillyscoutsmum · 20/09/2011 22:28

They do indeed. It also gets right on my tits when they tell you how or when to wear it. I don't need to be told that it will make "great relaxed weekend wear". What about if I want to wear it in the week ? Or want to wear it on a none relaxed weekend ?

moondog · 20/09/2011 22:31

'Just the thing for a relaxed lunch al fresco with the school run mums'

How about its suitablity for arefilling the car with petrol and buying some more bog roll?

orangina · 20/09/2011 23:23

Next time you are up in town, worth paying Cos a visit

(evangelical re: their long tees)
