No these were no good at all.
Worn by the sort of woman who would buy an appliqued tiered skirt form Per Una and call it 'jazzy'.

I'm drawn back to one of your original suggestions.

But I want a high heel, square toe and close fit dammit. Is it too much to ask.

PS I am loathing suede boots I think. Doesn't it go all scuzzy and faded?

I dunno- I'd wear them for work if they didn't come up too high.

They look to me as if they'd just cover the knee, which I really like. Any further and they stray into Adam Ant territory.

Knowing your line of work though, you really ought to be thinking about some nice comfort shoes and a multicoloured 'whacky' cardigan. You know I'm right.
