Long down coat with a belt

i am drawn to this north face triple c coat

But
I might look like a big maggot
I might be much too hot most of the time
It's £250

Has anyone got one who can tell me if it's worth it?

Or recommend anything similar. I thought zara usually do one but nothing on their we site. Perhaps it's a bit early in the year yet?
