What would you wear on a first "date"

Meeting with a man next weekend. We know each other only briefly (attend the same sports club) and have never met before outside of the club.

So first date in these circumstances - just going to a quiet pub for a few drinks, what should I wear?

5ft 10, size 10 - I don't tend to wear short skirts as I hate my thighs lol and I don't wear heels (tall enough lol)

I'm 6 foot, although a size 16 so am slightly of your size 10 figure...

Anyway...if it were me (I don't wear heels either), I would go for nice straight leg jeans, flats, fitted White t-shirt, smartish jacket & maybe a scarf...although i am a casual dresser & not known for my flair !

Id wear smart jeans, dressy boots, silky blouse/top, and nice dangly earrings
