Breastfeeding tops

Can anyone recommend any? Ideally I'd like some funky ones I can wear with jeans, but not too expensive! I'm not against paying £40 per se, it's just that I don't like spending that much on something I haven't also paid P&P for when I haven't felt the fabric and tried on etc etc.

I particularly like this one but at the price!

However, I bought some bravado tank tops and wore that underneath any old top I could pull up or down.

H&M had a few basic every day tops but nothing fancy, if you have one near you?

Honestly I wouldn't bother, especially now it is getting cooler and you are going to want to start layering the knits etc.

Buy some stretch tank tops (I love mine from H&M) and then just layer your regular clothes over the top. The neckline can be pulled under the breast for feeding and the stretch means they don't sag and you get to save your money for lovely clothes later.

I have three from H&M. They're fab. You can also get the occasional nursing top bargain on ASOS.

Why do so many of them double as maternity tops? My DS is five weeks old and maternity clothes look baggy and awful on me. I would quite like BF tops if they were at all stylish/affordable but there's no way I'd pay £££ for some frumpy maternity top now. I'll stick to layering.

I'm likely to want nursing tops longer than I needed maternity clothes for, as well! And when I look at BF tops it's clear they designed one range in 2002 and have just rolled it out every year since then. Nothing at all in this season's colours or styles (and actually there are some trends that would easily adapt to being BF-friendly).

BF tops aren't necessary. Do what TheQueenOfDenial said and you'll be fine.

TBH none of my clothes fit me anymore, and having sorted out my tops I am actually quite embarrassed - most don't fit, are stained and ratty or are so old and stretched out of shape!

I didn't really BF out and about last time, this time I really want to, but I want something fairly trendy to wear.

Coastgirl - I know it is so annoying! And when I searched on ASOS it brought up one vest top and a men's pea coat

I bought a Banana Republic faux-wrap top the other day and it is great as a breastfeeding top!(don't think that was what they had in mind though) You can lift up the side that wraps under(left side on the model) thereby covering top of boob and giving access to bra. And its only £25! Nicest breastfeeding worthy top I have seen.

The bravado tank tops I linked to have the built in bra and they are fabulous and wash well, they are fairly close fitting, but have stretch if needed. I had a few wrap tops that fastened on one side. Something like this would be fab as you can just move it to the side.
I found a surprising amount of BF friendly clothes at fat face and white stuff although white stuff didn't wash as well as I liked.
I know what you mean about ratty clothes, I didn't buy any clothes while ttc as I figured I would get pg, this took awhile and as I was slimming as well I ended with only a few things and unwilling to buy more!

I know there is a website that lists high street clothes suitable for bf but I can't remember the link!

I'm not sure I'd bother TBH. I'm of the same school as thequeenofdenial, buy yourself some nice tops that you can lift up and a stretch vest/camisole you can pull down, nobody will see anything and you can keep on wearing them.
I bought one proper breastfeeding top but DD wouldn't feed when I was wearing it!!
