Here

And do you think it really would have to be dry-cleaned?

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 17/09/2011 18:15

Yes. It will crinkle otherwise and you will never manage to fight it with an iron.

bigkidsdidit · 17/09/2011 18:18

I love it but it would look bad on any hint of a belly I think. Definitely dry cleaning or it will never hang the same again

moondog · 17/09/2011 18:20

Hideous.
Like an old sack.
Maxi dress ok (if one banishes thoughts of overweight orange coloured women at Aintree. lurching about with plastic pint pots) but skirts-!

Why??

TrillianAstra · 17/09/2011 18:24

If you generally hate maxi skirts then your opinion on this one is no good to me - it would be like asking my opinion on jumpsuits. :o

Grin

Don't say you weren't told.

TrillianAstra · 17/09/2011 18:28

Damn, if I had to dry clean it I would be put off wearing it so I might as well not buy it.

Does anyone else know where there are some maxi skirts not made of chiffony stuff? Maxi, mind you, one of this calf-length bollocks.

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 17/09/2011 18:28

*none of this calf-length bollocks

OP posts:
notyummy · 17/09/2011 18:29

I like it.

MrsRobertDuvall · 17/09/2011 18:34

No and yes.

KurriKurri · 17/09/2011 18:36

No no no, not like an old sack, I like it (although could never wear it due to belly and shortness - calf length bollocks is a maxi on me Grin) I think it would need dry cleaning though.

bigTillyMint · 17/09/2011 18:36

Yes, on a tall thin young woman.

purplepidjinawoollytangle · 17/09/2011 18:37

bleurgh, that's too old for my Gran!

Marginally less so

skirts &pageSize=20 Quite slinky

Gorgeous colour, hate the belt

Actually RI have got quite a few...

notyummy · 17/09/2011 18:39

Yes- may depend on figure to be fair- but not age! I am 5 ft 10, size 10 but not young. I would def wear it.

notyummy · 17/09/2011 18:43

I like the green one Purple linked to, but dont think
I could wear it to work, whereas I could see the grey one being more versatile.

KurriKurri · 17/09/2011 18:53

here

mint velvet

size 8 only

tethersend · 17/09/2011 18:59

Asda

purplepidjinawoollytangle · 17/09/2011 19:11

Kurri, I like your first one but am too chubby to wear it

Asda one is nice Smile

TrillianAstra · 17/09/2011 19:53

Thanks for all the suggestions! :)

Jigsaw one is £139 - bit much for me.

Love the teal RI one but not keen on the split.

Topshop one doesn't look like I could walk - looks like you'd have to walk like a pengion

Lots of the RI ones are the chiffony stuff that I'm trying to avoid, but I will definitely look next time I am near one so I can see the others in RL

HoF is good -- like the fishtail

Mint Velvet one is fine but I would prefer not black

I'm not a size 8 so the phase 8 one is no good

Asda one is good for work - as long as it is actually long enough - might see if they have it in store.

East

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/09/2011 20:04

I quite like this - polyester though

TrillianAstra · 17/09/2011 20:07

That one says "side split" but I can't SEE a side split. M&S fail on showing you what teh skirt is actually like.

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/09/2011 20:43

Am going to town tomorrow - do you want me to have a look at it for you and report back?

This one looks nice but only in certain sizes.

TrillianAstra · 17/09/2011 20:49

Oooh, bargain!

Who are full circle? Have you used them before?

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/09/2011 20:56

Not online but have one skirt from them, which I love. Have only ever seen them in HoF.

FaffTastic · 18/09/2011 12:18

I like maxi skirts but not that one, sorry. It doesn't even look flattering on the model round the tummy area. Like the full circle one - think HoF stocks full circle. Bought a jacket from FC before, good quality and lasted well.
