Merrell Haven owners...tight arms?

I've just bought the Merrell Haven and it's an almost perfect fit, only problem is it seems quite tight on the arms. Has anybody else noticed this or is it just down to my bingo wings?!

I've tried it on with a t shirt and it's fine but I'm not planning on wearing many t shirts this winter, I really don't want to have to send it back

Mine was tight but it did loosen up after lots of wearing.

Not sure I noticed the arms being tight (have had the haven for 2 years), but I am very short (5ft), I am not a delicate petite person, I am probably slightly sturdy/solid build.
