How Do You Style layers In bob Without Frizzy Ends?

had shuolder hair cut to a bob with layers. Problem - the ends of the layers can look a bit "frizzy". What product do I use to achieve a glossy look? I've heard to avoid mousse as it contains alcohol, thus drying. I just want to be able to blow dry my hair and not have that "starey" appearance.

I tried straighteners, but I ended up with sharp layers that look awful on me. I felt like that girl on the James Nesbit Yellow Pages ad.

Serum on the ends will make it hang more heavily.

Its all about the shampoo, make sure you use a sleek and shiny one. I also like the shine serums you can buy from Boots. No wax though, makes your hair heavy.

Straightners should work, but sort of flick them round to your face instead of straight down IYSWIM.

you only need a tiny tiny bit of serum, rubbed between the hands and smoothed over the ends

i use this

a teeny bit of wax on your fingertips to pinch the ends of your hair works great for me.. just a little tho.

If you have an avon ladyround by you I would definitely recommend Dry End Serum. I use it everyday on my wet hair and then again once i have dried and styled it.

Wax - alot of wax is too heavy but there is a new one out by fudge and its great. It's a spray mist rather than a cleggy stodgy wax.

This is the wax - Fudge Wet Wax .

When I can't afford my salon shampoo, I buy the Advance Techniques from Avon, the Straight and Sleek one - it is fab and reduced to 99p each for the shampoo and conditioner.

Thank you laydeez

I can report a huge success, thanks to Charles Worthington Shine On range. Shampoo, conditioner and squirty serum. Hair looks bouncy, shiny but weightless!! And the takeaways are 2 for £2 in Boots . Not that I was influenced by price or anything
