Had them 7 years, no proof of purchase, so no 'lifetime guarantee' return and I CAN'T live without them...

Google around. There is often PC shops that are able to fix them. (Depending on what's wrong.)

I'm in Glasgow and I had a lovely bunch of blokes come and pick them up from my work, fix them and deliver them back for £35 in 2 days.

Mine were very old the first time they repaired them with no receipt , the second time they gave me 20 pounds of a new pair.
