Pamplemousserose I LOVE you! You suggested on this thread here that if I wasn't prepared to learn to knit, I should try Etsy as I wanted a scarf like this one but not willing to pay £166..

I am now the proud new owner of one like this, in 100% wool & slightly longer in cream.

I am so happy, and delighted to have the scarf I wanted for a sensible price!

and btw, the lovely lady who owns A Crooked Sixpence shop was happy to source wool to my colour spec, sent me pictures of the wool, and knitted it in a week. Very fast, very marvellous service imo..
