greedygoose I would probably be wearing them with skinny jeans and occasionally with a (casual) dress/skirt.

I think they're a good, no-nonsense daytime boot.

Yes, they're a lot more flattering than uggs due to their length, I would think.

The only thing is, how do crepe soles hold up against rain?

good point, not sure.. you would think they wouldn't use them on a winter boot if they weren't waterproof - not saying I'll be jumping in muddy puddles but if I can only wear them in summer what's the point!

I've got originals shoes and the crepe soles are so slippy on wet ground. They look really sensible but they are dangerous when wet.
My work is community based, and if I go in anyone's house where the carpet is less than clean, they also tend to stick to the carpet, and it is actually quite hard for me to lift my feet off the carpet and they make a sort of tearing noise so it is obvious I am stuck.
All in all the crepe soles have been an unexpected source of both danger and embarrassment. Very comfortable though

blowhole you made me laugh ,and you have also made my mind up -I will no be getting them - especially as I live somewhere veryhilly and do not want to be sliding on my arse all the time
