Decent hairdressers in Manchester

My DD2 returns to Uni shortly and wants to get her hair done in Manchester rather than returning home. She's done this for the past twelve months as it's generally cheaper for a good cut where we live.

Can anyone recommend a good cutter in Manchester that doesn't charge the earth? Many thanks.

Toni ?& Guy has awful reviews from my OAP mother

I don't think my DD can afford Toni and Guy anyway!

does it have to be the centre of Manchester? I've just had my hair cut today at Macleod Bradley in West Didsbury - here. I went because I'd got a KGB voucher so had a cut and finish for £12, but I've already booked my next appointment there - cut and finish is £22.50 (with Lois who was fab), so fairly reasonable?
