I've wanted a pair of these for years but they've always been too expensive in the past. Thanks to a fellow MNer I found a dark brown pair on Amazon for £70 and have been eagerly awaiting their arrival. I can barely squeeze my calves into the things, they are cutting off my circulation. The foot is also a little tight. I'm wondering whether to try them in the next size up or to just accept defeat and give up. Also trying to find alternatives but nothing grabbing me, apart from some White Stuff buckle boots but I have serious reservations about them as others have posted about dubious quality and they're right at the top of my price range (about £120).
