I stupidly clicked on an email from M&S, I really wish I hadn't. Not for the squeamish

Ha!!!.......I knew it would be this one.
Was unfortunate enough to catch it 3 times last night on TV.....absolutely dreadful and sick making. Grin

Every single outfit in the ad is hideous too. At least the twiggy/danni ones I could see at least 1 item I liked could be forced to wear...

Haven't seen ad yet, but I assume that's Danii on their website - must say I think she loooks quite a bit older with that hairstyle - I preferred her shorter look. But then having to wear those clothes perhaps doesn't bring out the best in anyone. Presumably Twiggy gets to wear the dread Per Una as usual?

Oh dear, I decided to watch it - wish I hadn't. Tacky as hell. The only thing I liked was colour of her nail polish!

Its not danni on homepage or ad polyhmnia its an actress called Charlotte Weston who is far older Grin .....v similar face shape though.. Danni might be gutted you thought it though!

I thought it was a telco advert because the dress was I'll fitting and therefore looked cheap .. They could have at least taken it in to fit her properly .

I cringe at that advert too - M&S have gone be back to their core old ladies market instead of trying to appeal to the masses!

And that model looks embarrassed to be wearing that Per Una cardi!

Sorry, I couldn't resist posting. It's wrong on so many levels. The clothes are awful and the whole concept of the older lady dying her hair and wearing a corset while her man is allowed to look old is just yerk.
Even if I confess do spend a fortune on getting my hair coloured.

Agree on the nail polish. M and S have got it right with Lara Stone and Ryan Reynolds modelling for them but the advert..didn't like at all.

She's not 'older' Shock , she's about 45-50 and that's not a bloody corset, it's one of the shapewear bodies isn't it?

I think she looks fab and is totally aimed at their target market.
