Hight Street and body shapes?

Hello,
I've been wondering for ages about different high st shops and what body shapes they cut for. I was always under the impression that Oasis cut for pear-shapes, and Topshop cut for boyish shapes, but is there any truth to this and which shops cut for what body types? Anyone know?

I'm a small-ish pear, and I flipping love Oasis at the moment, lots of high neck, fitted tops! Phase eight is definitely cut for the large of nork.

I reckon most of the high street is biased towards the Apple at the moment. Apart from White Stuff (whether that's a good thing or bad is debatable.)

Probably some sort of continental thing.

Evans are doing something with body shape in that their Sales Assistants are going to be advising people what would suit according to body shape (don't know mine tbh). Was gonna post this yesterday. I think it's great that a high street store is doing this.
